The personal data collected will include age, gender, country of origin, current living situation, citizenship status, educational background, study intentions, experience with studying abroad, language proficiency, and contact information (email, name, phone number for those interested in participating in the follow-up study).

The survey collects data on gender (including an option for participants to self-describe), which falls under the category of special categories of personal data as per GDPR. No other special categories of data as defined by Article 9 of the GDPR (e.g., racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs) are intentionally collected.

The legal basis for processing personal data for this study is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Participants give their consent by voluntarily participating in the survey and follow-up study, and by providing their contact information for the raffle and further contact regarding the study.

Access to the personal data collected through the survey is strictly limited to SKOPOS NOVA and designated researchers involved in this study. No third-party access is permitted without explicit consent from the participants.

There will be no transfer of data to non-EU/EEC countries or international organizations for the purposes of this study.

Raffle Draw: As part of showing appreciation for survey participation, we conduct a raffle where winners are selected through an automated, random draw process. This method ensures fairness and impartiality in the selection of winners for the raffle prizes.
